After experimenting with them for quite some time I decided to get one for myself. I personally have the signal split between my Bedroom and Living room and it is great. I started using these machines when the head of our company needed an HTPC for his house (He now has a Z545 and a Z560 in separate rooms both sharing libraries on a networked drive).
I highly recommend this product. Blu Ray Drive, the outputted video is beautiful over HDMI if you are that serious about full HD. The Specs are not the newest/greatest available, but that is only because they aren't produced anymore.
The form factor is perfect (about the size of a good stereo receiver), and there are plenty of In/Outs.
Buy it. It works very well. It shouldn't be confused with a full time web browser. It is a DVR, digital media handler, and multi tuner TV with FM stereo.
It's a bother to do that. It does the job of tivo without a subscription fee, it allows access to downloading movies on demand (Movielink and Cinemanow) and the tv "guide" which you download for free gives all the info that you would get from digital cable. You have to adjust the resolution down to be able to see the web pages clearly. USe it as it was intended and it's great. To use the viseo and TV functions you have to re-adjust the resolution back to hi-res. I liked it so much I bought another for my kids tv.
It is marvelous use of computer tech applied to TV.You can access the web, but viewing the web with an HD screen as large as mine makes it hard to read. Buy it at the low closeout price NOW while you can. It is a computer, but it should be used inside the envelope it was intended. I have it digitally connected to 7.1 surround sound and a large screen plasma TV.
